Types of Aisles
Wide Aisle and Narrow Aisle lift trucks are classed due to the kinds of aisles they have been designed to operate in. These machinery are able to turn in an aisle, whereas Very Narrow Aisle trucks really don't turn in the aisle. There are some aisle widths to consider with different models.
Very Narrow Aisle trucks can operate in less than 6 feet places, whilst several would utilize certain guidance systems like optical, rail or wire systems in order to travel within the aisles. Wide Aisle Standard forklifts fall into this truck category and are designed to work within aisles that are more than 11 feet wide.
Stand-Up Ergonomics
The stand-up ergonomics include "Ergomat" padding with a sloped floorboard which is made to lessen operator exhaustion by absorbing vibration. The compartment for the operator is really large and has an 8" low step height which helps lessen overall body fatigue by easing frequent exit and entry.
