Engineered for Safety
Yale has a great history for offering safe lift trucks which are suitable for a range of applications. The ability to produce and engineer units for better safety comes from the new technology that is available in the material handling business and the company's experience.
In their newest designs, Yale has started integrating newly available technologies. Some of the new technologies which are available are initially applied to forklift trucks and then later proven further through durability testing and functionality. The company performs various controlled field tests and reliability development so as to make sure that their products are really safe.
To be able to improve overall safety, Yale has designed and developed many new features, which have been integrated on many models such as:
Operator Compartment Controls and Ergonomics
The ergonomics within the operator compartment along with the controls are made with state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to guarantee that the operator avoids heavy repetitive motions as well as exhaustion. These extra comforts help to increase overall productivity.
Adjustable Operators Controls and Compartment
Adjustable operator controls enable the operators to choose the positioning of their necessary controls. This helps make the machine user friendly, regardless of who is using it. Prior to beginning their shift, the operator could make sure she or he is as comfortable as possible.
Operator Presence System
The Operator Presence System prevents the hydraulic system operation from being used if the operator is not in the right operating position. This presence system additionally disables directional travel on internal combustion engine truck models.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The drop-down design brings the liquid propane gas tank out from the protected center of the truck and down to the operator's natural handling position making the tank easier to change.
