By 1912, Case had become established in the construction machine industry. The quickly began to produce road building machinery like graders and steam rollers. Case grew their construction machine company through different acquisitions, starting with the American Tractor Corporation during 1957. Case had expanded their company by the mid-1990s to become the top producer of light-sized to medium-sized construction machines.
Case merged with the company New Holland during 1999 and together they became CNH Global. This business became responsible for marketing some of the globe's top brands of construction and agricultural machinery.
