Peiner's unique grabs can deal with a wide variety of products and materials like iron ores, cement, fertilizers, coke, scrap and refuse. Our years of experience in making high quality products and the overall designing process helps to allow our customers receive the proven technology their diverse applications require.

Within the United States marketplace, SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. Various industries like for example Scrap Handling, Steel Mills, Waste to Energy, Bulk Transfer Facilities and many other material handling facilities are presently utilizing our buckets and grabs to get their tasks done.

The design philosophy at Peiner has always revolved around delivering grabs which handle the largest volume of material vs. grab dead weight. The standard handling ratio for Peiner buckets and grabs is approximately 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent vs. grab dead weight of 40 percent. This means transporting more quantities of supplies faster. The wear and tear on the structure of the crane and its related components is less. By combining innovative design and high quality materials with manufacturing, the weight ration which is desired is obtained.

Grab sizes would range from 1 cubic yard or less to over 50 cubic yards in order to suit the needs of the customer. Furthermore, Peiner USA Inc. offers a complete spare parts facility and service facility for the units purchased within the United States, along with the addition of brand new buckets and grabs.
